Dornith Doherty

University of North Texas professor and photographer Dornith Doherty has a current exhibition at McMurtrey Gallery until April  21, 2012. The work explores seeds and seed banks with large format prints as well as something called digital chromogenic lenticular prints – like the Cracker Jack prizes where the image changes as you angle the card from side to side. Doherty travelled from the arctic to the desert to create her ethereal images. This is a show you won’t want to miss if you’re in town for Fotofest.
